Globapay was shaped by years of first-hand experience across payments, merchant networks, digital value transfer and emerging markets.
We saw a clear gap: businesses in frontier markets were ready to trade globally, but the infrastructure around them was fragmented, expensive or inaccessible.
Built in Ireland for scale
Globapay was founded to build practical commerce infrastructure for businesses operating beyond traditional financial centres - connecting local merchants to global payment, distribution and technology rails.
First product focus
We chose digital gift cards as our first product because they solve a real problem for merchants: upfront revenue, new customers and new distribution - without building the infrastructure themselves.
Live and building for scale
GlobaGift is live and launching with selected partners. Backed by Enterprise Ireland as a high-potential start-up, we're building to support more merchants, channels and use cases.
